The lovely and perfect (perfect of course now that the outdoor attached balcony is installed and fully functional) Magic Stick was talked about by the fine folks at the New York Times recently. Old Detroit punk rockers Death played gritty garage rock akin today to Austin’s White Denim. In 1973, Death released an EP that more than 30 years later is getting some very positive press. The original band members were just chilling in Vermont, living life, not even really aware that all this was occurring. The NYTimes does a nice write-up on the band in this article.
